A simple, recognizable figure is transformed into something different. The teddy bear, a symbol of affection and protection, retains its shape but loses its function: it is no longer something to touch or to experience with lightness.

The surface completely changes the perception of the work. What from a distance seems familiar, up close becomes more distant, almost inaccessible. This creates a direct contrast between what we know and what we see.

The work plays precisely on this tension: on one hand it attracts, on the other it keeps at a distance. Thus, an image linked to childhood is reread in a contemporary key, becoming something more complex and less reassuring.

Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between surveying and architecture studies, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture artisan. There he felt an ever-stronger need to discover himself and unleash his creativity.
