These lamps are a classic of Italian design from the 1970s/1980s.
Item Details
Title: Pair of table lamps model "Petalo" or "Tulipano".
Origin: Murano, Italy.
Period: 1970s.
Material: * Diffusers: Hand-blown Murano glass with a "pulegoso" effect or satin-finished, fading toward transparent.
Base: Metal with a polished gold finish (gold-plated brass).
Colors: Milky white fading to gold.
Dimensions and Technique
Dimensions: * Height: [37cm].
Diameter: [maximum glass width = 27cm].
Condition and Functionality
Conditions: Excellent vintage condition. The glass is intact, with no chips or cracks. The gold bases retain good shine, with very light signs of oxidation consistent with age.
Electrical system: Present and original to the period. A technical check before prolonged use is recommended. The lamps use E14 (small) bulb sockets.
