A nine‑volume special edition set of Gustave Flaubert's Œuvres Complètes Illustrées in French, bound in half‑morocco leather with marbled boards and gilt spine decorations, 24.5 × 20 cm, about 4050 pages, published 1921–1925, in very good antique condition.

An attractive and collectible set of 9 volumes from the Œuvres Complètes Illustrées of Gustave Flaubert

Official Centenary Edition
This beautifully illustrated edition, revised by René Descharmes, combines literary importance with strong decorative appeal. Bound in brown half-morocco leather, with marbled boards. The spines are richly and elegantly gilt-decorated and the top edges are gilt in fine gold.making them highly suitable for both collectors and interior display.
