About the artist
Billy Gee is a street artist based in Athens, whose work is deeply rooted in graffiti culture and the raw energy of the street.
Emerging from a key generation that helped structure the Athens contemporary street art scene, he develops a practice at the intersection of graffiti, realism and urban expression.
A former skater, he grew up in the heart of street culture, where skate, music and graffiti formed a natural creative ecosystem. His travels across Europe have enriched his visual language and strengthened his signature on the international scene.
Trained in graphic arts and realistic design, his work stands out for dynamic compositions, vibrant color palettes and a high level of detail. His graffiti heritage remains central: movement, spontaneity and visual impact shape his approach.
In parallel, he has collaborated with skate-focused magazines and held a column for Athens Voice, asserting his presence in contemporary urban culture.
Solo exhibitions:
Life Extension, Alibi Art Gallery (Athens, 2021)
The Road to You, Maquis-Art Gallery (2018–2019)
Group exhibitions and fairs:
Art Athina
Roma Arte in Nuvola
Expo Mister Freeze
Exhibitions in Paris, Néocratia
Auctions, notably with Cornette de Saint Cyr, Rossini
His works have also been showcased in major cultural institutions in Athens, such as Technopolis and the Onassis Cultural Centre.
A relevant piece for urban art collectors and for unique works.
