I bought the Technics SU-V303 Computer Drive New Class A Integrated Amplifier for myself 44 years ago, in 1982.
The SU-V303 of 1982 was one of the first models to include this ‘Computer Drive New Class A’ refinement.
The respective Class A output stage specifically refer to the ‘richness’ of the output stage bias current
In Class A amplifiers this standing current ensures the output transistors are held in a state of conduction over the entire period of the audio waveform, including the zero-crossing point as it transitions from positive- to negative-going, and vice-versa.
This Technics SU-V303 Stereo Integrated amplifier, tested and working, offering detailed sound performance.
