Sixteen vinyl sleeves arranged like a record shop wall — but a wall that lives, pulses, and emits. In the center, a red ON AIR neon radiates the whole piece with its warm, variable light. This is not a reproduction. This is not a poster. It’s a painting that lights up.
Le Yack selected sixteen icons from a decade that invented it all: Culture Club, Scorpions, Bonnie Tyler, Depeche Mode, Joan Jett, Prince, Duran Duran, Rolling Stones, George Michael, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, AC/DC, The Clash, Eurythmics. Each sleeve is hand-painted — acrylic, oil pastel, marker on print — with a fidelity that is at once portrait and homage. None is a copy: each is an interpretation, a hand laid on a memory.
And at the center of all this, the neon. Red. Bright. ON AIR. As if radio had never stopped. As if somewhere, right now, a DJ were still playing Rio or Faith or London Calling and someone somewhere was listening.

The artist Le Yack’s style is a bold fusion of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual universes, merging various digital resources and exploring a range of artistic techniques (Photoshop software and drawing on Procreate and various royalty-free image resources and AI).

Le Yack, emerging French pop and street artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a artistic director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States.
Inspired by classic and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating emblematic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.
The artist also explores different forms of art production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on canvas-mounted panels, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
Le Yack’s style reflects a fusion between traditional art and the infinite possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and deft use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
