Description from the seller
MiLo – “Aurum Field”
A work by Amsterdam-based artist MiLo (1976).
Aurum Field unfolds as a layered interplay of movement and restraint. Earthy browns and soft greys build a textured ground, while black gestures and vivid yellow accents cut across the surface like flashes of energy. The composition hovers between control and release—structured yet instinctive, dense yet open.
There is no fixed centre; the eye drifts through intersections, splashes, and subtle disruptions, where fleeting alignments emerge and dissolve. Hints of action painting meet a fragmented, almost Cubist sense of space, without resolving into a single narrative.
The painting can be hung in any orientation (portrait or landscape), allowing shifts in rhythm and balance depending on its presentation. The painting will be rolled up and shipped in a sturdy tube or box, without frame, and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
