Description from the seller
Title: Brutal Force
Artist: Mr Lova Lova
Format: 61x50 cm
Technique: mixed media
Original work – unique piece
With its sharp lines and pronounced contrasts, this canvas asserts a direct, unapologetic presence. The face, reduced to essentials, expresses inner tension and an instinctive assertion. The limited palette heightens the visual impact and gives the work a strong graphic dimension, close to a visual manifesto. A powerful piece, with a defined character.
This series of six paintings is part of an exploration of identity fragmentation and the multiplicity of perception. Through a pictorial language blending cubist influences, contemporary expressionism, and urban energy, each work offers a singular interpretation of the human face.
The figures, deliberately deconstructed and then recomposed, convey the complexity of being: a coexistence of thoughts, emotions, and perceptions. Gazes multiply, lines cross, forms dialogue, creating a constant tension between structure and spontaneity.
Each canvas functions autonomously, while contributing to a global narrative. Taken together, they compose a visual map of modern identity — unstable, plural, and constantly evolving.
The range of chromatic palettes reinforces this dynamic: from strong contrasts to more soothing harmonies, each piece explores a different facet of the human experience, ranging from inner confrontation to a form of balance.
This series can be read as an introspective exploration as much as a reflection of the contemporary world, where the individual is formed through fragments, influences, and multiple tensions.
Artist bio
I am a contemporary artist whose work explores the fragmentation of human identity through a raw and expressive aesthetic.
Inspired by Cubism, Primitive art, and modern urban expressions, I deconstruct faces to reveal multiple emotions: tension, duality, introspection.
My works mix instinctive lines, contrasting colors, and recurring symbols to create portraits that are both disturbing and deeply human.
