Description from the seller
Title: Interior Connection
Artist: Mr Lova Lova
Format: 20x20 cm
Technique: mixed media
Original work – unique piece
This work explores the layering of identities through a game of nested profiles and fluid lines evoking organic connections. The faces intertwine like thoughts in dialogue, creating a visually almost electric circulation.
The contrast between vivid colors and structured forms suggests a constant interaction between the individual and their environment, between interior and exterior. A dynamic piece, both narrative and introspective.
This series of six canvases is part of a research into the fragmentation of identity and the multiplicity of gaze. Through a pictorial language blending cubist influences, contemporary expressionism, and urban energy, each work offers a singular interpretation of the human face.
The figures, deliberately deconstructed and then recomposed, express the complexity of the self: a coexistence of thoughts, emotions and perceptions. The gazes multiply, the lines cross, the shapes dialogue, creating a permanent tension between structure and spontaneity.
Each canvas stands on its own, while contributing to a global narrative. Taken together, they form a visual cartography of modern identity — unstable, plural, and constantly evolving.
The diversity of color palettes reinforces this dynamic: from strong contrasts to more soothing harmonies, each piece explores a different facet of the human experience, ranging from inner confrontation to a form of balance.
This series can be perceived as an introspective exploration as much as a reflection of the contemporary world, where the individual is built through fragments, influences and multiple tensions.
Artist bio
I am a contemporary artist whose work explores the fragmentation of human identity through a raw and expressive aesthetic.
Inspired by cubism, primal art and modern urban expressions, I deconstruct faces to reveal multiple emotions: tension, duality, introspection.
My works blend instinctive lines, contrasting colors and recurring symbols to create portraits that are at once disturbing and deeply human.
