Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration became a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He is inspired, among others, by Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
