Artist Lorenzo Favaron's work titled Trascent, Obelisk version (Red Cut), a piece from the limited series number 17, 20x20x20 cm, mixed media, high-performance blend and varnish, edition 2025.

The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique and unreproducible work. The measurements may vary slightly.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters of the way by a hollowed portion. I consider this work a vindication of the Ego against the trials of existence, but also an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit is characterized as a set of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
