All automatic watches at first use must be wound also via the crown; wrist movement alone is not enough to maintain the required power reserve

RULE FOR ALL WATCHES WITH DATE
To avoid possible damage to the movement, please do not set the date using the crown when the watch time is between 21:00 and 03:00 – It is recommended to set the date with the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55 (Some models have a screw-down crown; for settings you need to gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Do not forget to securely screw the crown back after making desired adjustments)
