Andrea Giorgi was TOP 10 sculptors in 2024 and TOP 50 artists out of 129.000 in 2025 in a major online platform specialized in art sales.

Biography:
Andrea Giorgi (1974), born in Italy, first an interior designer for 10 years and then an interior designer for megayachts for 12 years, was one of the first Italian digital artists to exhibit his works in international fairs and exhibitions since 2008. Some of his works of art decorate the luxurious rooms of prestigious yachts. One of his works of art was purchased by Ferrero, thus becoming part of an important private collection of international contemporary art.
Since 2016 also a digital sculptor, his sculptures are all over the world.
Andrea Giorgi was one of the first sculptors to sell on Catawiki, a founder since 2016 with his boxers, the characters that come out of magazines and walls, his reticular sculptures, all sculptures that today various artists on Catawiki and other platforms propose in variations and revisitations.
Generally opposed to a good part of the current pop art street art trend of too many artists who today buy sculptures (unfortunately often Chinese) and then color them and add famous logos without at least specifying that they do not create the sculpture, Giorgi designs all his sculptures entirely with techniques 3D, which then prints in Italy with different technologies (from the simplest and cheapest plastic jet to the most complex and expensive laser prints). The laser sculptures are then hand colored by the artist. Finally he collaborates with a renowned Italian foundry for the production of his most exclusive series, the lost wax bronzes.
Unlike most contemporary artists in search of quick success who try to maximize the number of pieces to be invented and sales, Giorgi's philosophy learned from working for several years in the luxury world is "LESS IS MORE".
The annual production and sale of him is deliberately very limited, both for the production of new pieces and for the weekly sale on Catawiki.
Furthermore, today it is almost impossible to buy something at auction without a reserve price.
This is both due to the high production cost of most sculptures which does not allow them to be "sold off", and to safeguard the value of the sculptures sold. In this way the sculptures end up in the hands of collectors who almost never resell them until after several years, and only speculative purchases are avoided.
Andrea Giorgi's sculptures are also almost impossible to find as they are currently an exclusive of Collection, a contemporary art gallery founded in 2015 by Giorgi himself which deals with both works by promising young Italian and European artists and works by historicized artists among the such as Rabarama, Walter Valentini, Piero Gilardi, Aubertin, Roberta Coni, Annalù Boeretto, Salvatore Provino, Paolo Radi, Ceribelli, Giuseppe Amadio, Riccardo Gusmaroli, Giorgio Gost, Invader, Kaws
