Description from the seller
Marvelous Girl Series
Limited editions of 8 copies + 4 AP (artist proofs) - Aluminum support (print on white vinyl mounted on 2 aluminum plates, back cover attachment, and UV- and humidity-resistant soft front lamination). Certificate of authenticity
F2B pursued brilliant studies at the École Supérieure des Arts appliqués Duperré in Paris.
Art Director, then Creative Director in an agency, F2B finds all inspiration in brand identity. Free in his art from advertising constraints, F2B takes pleasure in associating and misappropriating logotypes, icons and other mass-market emblems.
Two fundamental elements will guide his creations: the use of the female body in advertising to sell, and the power that logotypes have in our urban environment. He creates, through this pairing of ideas, the “BrandBabes,” a kind of Pin-Up where logos dress the bodies of women.
With the series "Marvelous Girl," this time it is the “Superheroes” who come to enfold the female silhouettes, thus creating new heroines.
