Description from the seller

Print on satin photographic paper R.C.
Dimensions: 21 x 28 cm with margins.
Photographic credit printed on the back.
Notes on the back. In excellent condition.

New York in the 1940s. Three young people dive into the waters of the East River.
A superb graphic composition in the purest style of this great photographer, a native of New York.

The Queensboro Bridge is visible in the background of the photograph. This bridge connects Queens to Manhattan and crosses the East River. A structure of size proportional to the city, with two levels and 10 lanes, extending for over a kilometer. It even inspired Simon & Garfunkel's song "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)" in 1966.
