Description from the seller
The subject of the auction is a monumental oil painting by Artur Sudak, titled "Sailor." It is an exceptionally dynamic and dramatic vision of a yacht struggling with powerful, raging ocean waves. The work represents a mature fusion of classical nautical realism with contemporary expressive painting.
The artist masterfully captured the energy of the element. The centrally placed boat is tilted, with taut sails, highlighting the strength of the wind and the fight for survival. Swirling deep blues and turquoises of the water contrast with white and golden foam of the foaming waves that crash forcefully against the hull. The dynamic painterly texture and visible brushstrokes make the movement of the water almost tangible.
Born in 1965. Painter, self-taught, graphic artist.
He completed studies in painting and drawing at Curso Práctico de Dibujo y Pintura Larousse. He works in many styles, but is especially fond of realistic painting, romanticism, and a classical aesthetics inspired by the tradition of École des Beaux-Arts.
