What is a "Panthagon"?
Born of my imagination, the Panthagon results from a cross between a panther and a spiny dragon. This explains why it has spines on its back. Juveniles are born with only 4-5 spines. As they grow, females keep their 4-5 spines while males develop additional spines on the back that run to the tail. There are different spine shapes (straight, angled, short, long, etc.) depending on the Panthagon subspecies.
Popularized thanks to Orlinski, Koons and many others, animal sculptures (balloon dog, lion, panther, crocodile, ...) are at the heart of pop art. I therefore offer you this representation of a Panthagon in resin fully painted with acrylic in white/blue and in crackle version. Pop art/contemporary art style. Sculpture measures 43 cm x 13 cm x 9 cm. Three coats of protective gloss and UV-resistant varnish. Sculpture signed / hand-numbered on the underside. Delivered with its certificate of authenticity.
