“I love you …” is not a painting that politely asks for attention — it takes it and holds it.

Built in a raw, unfiltered visual language, the work transforms one of the most universal human experiences — unrequited love — into a striking visual metaphor. The heart, rendered in intense shades of blue, becomes a confined emotional space where the phrase “I love you / you don’t love me” is repeated obsessively, almost ritualistically. It is no longer a dialogue, but an echo.

The composition gains rhythm through the multiplication of small heart forms — like pulses, like attempts — until a disruptive element appears: a red X, minimal yet absolute. It cuts through the pattern, marking the boundary between hope and rejection, desire and reality.

The expressive, almost visceral outline of the heart contrasts with the fragility of the handwritten text inside, while the small human figure suggests effort — the persistent, perhaps futile attempt to sustain or change something that cannot be changed.

The artwork will be shipped as a rolled, unstretched canvas for safe delivery. Packaged in tube box and wrapped properly.
Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival completely normal for rolled canvas. Minor waves or creases may be visible upon arrival, which is completely normal for rolled canvas. These will disappear once the canvas is stretched or framed by a professional framer.

All my shipments will be made through DHL EXPRESS or a similar company, always trying to guarantee the safety, care and efficient delivery of the work. However, delays that may occur in the case of goods are beyond my control; I will always be attentive to tracking the shipment and any incident that may arise, being at the customer's disposal to provide appropriate assistance and support.
