XTC presents Mc Banksy Red Boxed, a 27 cm square, 6 cm deep artwork in plastiques and bois, framed in a boxed frame, hand-signed, numbered 13/20, dated 2026, produced in France, with COA included.
Description from the seller
Mc Banksy cornets in a frame display case for a wall presentation by XTC.
A reversal of a McDonald's cone, capturing the entire delicacy of Banksy’s work with the abundance of McDonald’s, represented by the number of hearts.
This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; everything has been created from plastics and painted by XTC.
The frame is part of the artwork. It is provided with a plastic display glass, and you can present it with or without as in the first and third photos.
Signed and numbered on the back out of 20, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The copy shipped is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful, trackable shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement (re-appropriation) of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
