Description from the seller
Patio with pool – Painting on canvas, 100 x 70 cm.
Patio with pool presents a domestic scene elevated to a sensory experience through the expressive use of color and light. The composition centers on the horizontal plane of the water, which acts as a fragmented mirror where reflections of architecture and vegetation dissolve, generating a constant visual vibration. The palm trees and lush vegetation introduce organic verticality that contrasts with the straight lines of the pool and the buildings, creating a balance between order and nature. The palette, dominated by intense blues, saturated greens, and warm tones on the facades, does not seek realism but atmosphere, evoking a sense of heat, stillness, and a certain Mediterranean intimacy. The absence of human figures reinforces a contemplative character, where the space seems inhabited but suspended, as if captured in a stopped moment between the ordinary and the evocative.
I am a visual artist with painting as my main focus. My work centers on exploring color as language and as a means to construct landscapes that begin in the mind but seek to materialize in physical reality. Each work is an attempt to translate sensations, memories, and inner atmospheres into tangible images, creating a bridge between the intangible and the visible. Color is the axis of my research: I use it not only as an aesthetic element but as a tool to open emotional and perceptual spaces.
