The Pearl FireCracker 12" Steel (model FCS1250) is a compact effect-snare known for its sharp attack and bright resonance.

Size: 12 x 5 inches.
Shell: Made from 1.0 mm rolled steel with a chrome finish.
Hardware: Equipped with 1.6 mm steel tension hoops and CL-50 bridge-span blocks.
Sound: Produces a powerful "pop" with a lot of projection. Without dampening it has a timbale-like character; with dampening the sound tends toward an electronic snare.
