The smooth center contrasts with the ornamented rim, imparting balance and sophistication to the piece.

On the reverse, there is a punch indicating 900 silver.

Based on the decorative language and manufacturing techniques, it is estimated that the piece dates from the late 19th to early 20th century (c. 1880–1920).
