Konstantin “Zmogk” Danilov presents State 036, an original mixed media artwork on Hahnemühle paper (310 g/m²), 32 × 24 cm, signed, in excellent condition and dated 2026, produced in Greece and delivered unframed.
Description from the seller
- Technique details: Alcohol based markers, acrylic and spray paint, inks on Hahnemühle Mixed Media paper, acid free, 310 g/m2
- Certificate of Authenticity provided
- Delivery unframed, carefully packed in envelope
"State 036" is part of the "Borderline States" project and explores a state of inward attention and quiet tension. The muted blue-grey field creates a sense of distance and introspection, where forms begin to appear and dissolve at the same time. The active perimeter, built with intense red tones, works in peripheral vision and introduces a contrasting signal. It reflects inner and outer pressure that does not fully enter the center, but remains present, gently shifting focus and preventing the state from becoming stable.
Please note:
- Possible color deviations are due to light, monitor and camera.
- For buyers outside the EU, additional duties and fees may apply.
Bio.
Konstantin Danilov (b. 1979, Moscow) is a painter and muralist based in Athens, Greece. A pioneer of Russia’s 1990s graffiti scene, his practice evolved toward Color Field painting, blending bold spatial compositions with psychological and emotional depth.
He has exhibited at major institutions such as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, RuArts Foundation, and Burning Man x Sotheby’s (New York). His works are part of notable collections, including the STRAAT Museum (Amsterdam), Montresso Foundation, RuArts Foundation, and Sofia Trotsenko Collection.
Danilov has held solo shows at Triumph Gallery, Fineart Gallery, and Reloft Art in Moscow, and has participated in international fairs such as Urban Art Fair (Paris) and Affordable Art Fair (Amsterdam). His street art projects span over 20 countries, from Hong Kong to Paris and New York.
His work explores themes of emotional perception, ecological fragility, and transformation of personality and the interaction between one’s inner world and the external environment, including in the context of emigration. Using techniques such as painting around the edges of the canvas to reflect the hidden emotional layers that frame our conscious experience.
