Description of the Object
Splendid and imposing vase in solid 800 silver, made by the historic and renowned Venetian workshop Alzetta & Bellettati. This piece represents an excellence of Italian silverware of the 20th century, blending Venetian artisanal mastery with the biomorphic aesthetics of the Mid-Century Modern period.
The vase stands out for its fluid and dynamic shape, characterized by a bulging body that tapers into a slender neck and then opens to a refined flared and asymmetric mouth. The surface is entirely hand-hammered, a technique that creates an exceptional play of reflections and testifies to the manual execution of the piece.
