Description from the seller

Sculpture unique piece, featured in the book “HAIKU” by the artist Coco de Paris.

International contemporary artist, Coco de Paris was born in the Netherlands and trained at the prestigious art schools of Antwerp and Brussels. Based in France for more than 30 years, he develops a singular body of work, immediately recognizable, at the crossroads of contemporary art, design, and visual culture.

International recognition
Coco de Paris’s work goes far beyond the traditional gallery frame:
• Several of his works appear in the film Deep Water produced by 20th Century Fox, with Ben Affleck
• He collaborated with Marc Jacobs for an exclusive collection
• Gucci acquired exploitation rights to some of his works
• Géraldine Chaplin counts his creations among her inspirations
• Collaborations with international brands and institutions such as Joe Fresh, World Market, Cardinal Games, Nepia (Japan), FLOW Magazine, or Lindner Hotels (Germany).
• Collaboration with Tim Zagat (founder of the Zagat guide): the creation of an illustrated alphabet book of 26 animals and, for 2026, the release of two works: a book devoted to the mythical Parisian palace Le Bristol Paris and an artistic work titled Silly Words.

His work has been shown in numerous galleries and art fairs across Europe, such as Affordable Art Fairs in Brussels and Amsterdam, selected for the MAC Paris show, Art Metz, and the galleries of Arts Bernard Mourrier (Saint-Rémy de Provence), Carincotte (Marseille), Another Art (Belgium), Galerie Projection (Brussels), Galerie Radar (Bayeux), Galerie Cyane (Nancy), Galerie Marie Ricco (Calvi), Galerie Gour-beneforti (Bastia). His selection for the Chelsea International Art Competition in New York also confirms the international reach of his work.

Currently, Coco de Paris’s work is permanently represented in France by the Art Sant Roch gallery in Céret.

His sculptures, made in resin, iron, wood, and acrylic, are hand-painted and testify to a constant pursuit of innovation and material.
