AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Original Gicleé Premium artwork

270g satin card - 60x60 - Unique 1/3
Shipped without frame, rolled in a tube.

Skem is a new artist on Catawiki, each work is created with professional tools and top quality, offering collectors reliability and the security of a serious and high-level purchase.

Skem is a contemporary digital artist known for his ability to fuse classical aesthetics and symbols of modern culture into visually powerful and conceptually provocative compositions. His works recall Renaissance and Baroque painting, but are reinterpreted through contemporary elements.
Skem developed from a young age a strong attraction to drawing. As a child he spent hours copying images from art books and comics, honing his technique. During adolescence he discovers the great masters of European painting, deeply impressed by the dramatic use of light and the care for detail.
The shift to digital happened almost by chance: initially he used the computer as a simple tool to refine sketches, but soon he realized the enormous possibilities offered by digital graphics software. He began to study autonomously programs like Photoshop, which becomes his main creative laboratory. Here he experiments with textures, photo montages and digital painting, managing to recreate the effect of canvas and traditional brushes.
Subsequently he broadens his skills including more modern tools like (AI).
Today Skem is recognized for his distinctive approach, capable of transforming familiar images into new visual experiences
