Description from the seller
Daniele Cestari was born in 1983 in Ferrara, where he graduated in architecture in 2009 and then dedicated himself to painting. His career as an artist is closely linked to his university studies in architecture, which he completed with a thesis in urban design. In this context he developed a preference for the physical aspect of the city and for the urban landscape by studying painting and photography.
This work is part of a series dedicated to old postcards of Milan, transformed into unique works. He has held solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad (Boston, London, Amsterdam, Mykonos, Sofia, Buenos Aires).
