Description:

This triptych belongs to the series Suspended Horizons, specifically the branch Presences, in which painting becomes more concrete, physical, and traversed by a tension between surface and depth.

The three canvases, designed as a unified whole but also viewable individually, develop through stratifications, glazes and tactile interventions that build a living surface, almost epidermal. The color thickens and opens into zones of light, creating a balance between immersion and breath.

The golden accents, executed in acrylic, emerge as traces integrated into the painting matter, contributing to a vibration that never becomes a decorative element.

On My Skin evokes a direct, sensory perception: painting as contact, as a surface that holds and returns experience. An inner landscape that is not merely observed, but felt.

Unique work.

Colors may vary slightly depending on the screen.

Project Statement
Suspended Horizons

This work belongs to my painting path dedicated to Suspended Horizons, a research born from the encounter between water and intuition. In these canvases, fluid matter shapes inner landscapes: imagined visions that do not represent real places, but states of mind, perceptual thresholds, and fragments of ephemeral beauty.

The surface develops through light stratifications, transparencies and sparse fields, evoking silence, waiting and the breath of a suspended time. In some works essential signs emerge — stylized blooms, floating petals, reflected trees — symbolic presences that amplify the meditatively dreamy dimension without imposing a defined narrative.

The series takes the form of a process in becoming, open to gestural and formal variations, true to a poetry of the non-said and the threshold. Within this research three expressive modalities take shape, which are not closed categories but movements of the same inquiry.

- Evanescences -

In the "Evanescences" the matter dissolves and withdraws. The image appears as a distant memory, a barely grasped vision, where the landscape becomes rarified, unstable, suspended between presence and disappearance.

- Presences -

In "Presences" the painting thickens and takes shape. The matter emerges with greater intensity, while maintaining a dream-like quality, as a form that reveals itself without ever fully defining itself.

- Apparitions -

In the "Apparitions" light surfaces from dark depths. Space becomes more compact, and the horizon becomes a distant threshold, a direction toward which the gaze tends, guided by a luminous presence that manifests and withdraws at the same time.

Artist Statement

My work explores the fluid nature of water and its capacity to generate forms, movement and light.

Through the use of watercolors, acrylics, inks and glazes, I translate this energy into abstract visions that bring silence, mystery and introspection.

I paint inner landscapes: suspended horizons, reflections, blooms. Images that do not represent real places, but perceptual states balanced between appearance and dissolution.

I let the water guide the process, embracing imperfections and fleeting traces as an essential part of the work.

My inquiry moves between lightness and matter, keeping an open space for interpretation.

Each work is an invitation to slow down and breathe with the eyes.
