Description from the seller

From “Psyche and Love” by François Gérard, Italy (1770-1837)
instagram: Teejocreator

Teejo is a internationally recognized artist, specializing in digital collage for over 6 years. Referenced on Artprice, he develops a singular universe blending contemporary creation, visual culture, and digital mastery. A signed, sought-after signature by collectors, well beyond the fleeting trends linked to AI.

“A Poisoned Love?”
In this contemporary rereading of an ancient myth, I wanted to transpose the divine idyll of Cupid and Psyche to the era of notifications, tattoos, and disillusions.
Cupid, now an urban bad boy, cap, tattooed torso, luxury bag slung over the shoulder and branded flip-flops, looks over his shoulder, but what is he looking at on his phone?
He embraces a Psyche far less naïve than she seems. Her anxious gaze betrays doubt; a doubt settles in.
Above them, the lone “like” symbol hovers like a toxic blessing. This artificial heart becomes the only emotional reference point for a love perhaps too exhibitable, too ephemeral, too doubtful to be real.
By crossing mythology, streetwear codes, and social media language, this work questions the fragility of modern emotional bonds, where love skirts vice, temptation, and permanent suspicion.

Teejo is a French contemporary artist. Cultural mediator, he modernizes old works of great masters by reinventing them with his own vision. He wishes to reintroduce to the whole world old paintings by great masters sometimes forgotten over time. His passion for classical art has allowed him to develop his talent. He also creates new original works blending poetry, satire, prevention, and imagination, conveying many messages through his creations. These works are sold around the world.

He creates his works using digital tools and enjoys mixing and revisiting techniques to achieve the best result. He is also the designer of the “perceptual duality,” a graphic innovation filed with the National Institute of Industrial Property allowing multiple images in a single painting through color glasses.
