The nature of the technique I use makes each piece in the series a unique and unrepeatable work.
The piece consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters of the way by a hollowed portion. I consider this work a vindication of the Self against the vicissitudes of existence, but also an innate yearning toward the heights. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the peak is characterized by a set of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
