The nature of the technique I use makes each piece in the series a unique, unrepeatable work. The dimensions and the texture of the final piece may differ slightly from the photos and the stated measurements.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters of the way by a hollow portion. I consider this work as a rebuke of the Self against the vicissitudes of existence, but also as an innate longing for the heights. Towards a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter becoming spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of form toward the apex is characterized as a set of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
