My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, forms and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never let me go – it accompanies me to this day and inspires me anew time and again. On travels and visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I could gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interspaces that often can only be expressed in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher frame sized 150 x 120 cm and a depth of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by a craftsman or gallery owner.
It is a handmade original, which has been signed by the artist on the back and dated.
