Maria Ruisi, born in Riga in 1983, is a doctor, researcher, and artist, whose work is grounded in a deep, ongoing exploration of texture and matter from a young age. Early on, she developed a unique sensitivity to surfaces, structures, and the silent language of matter.
As a design engineer with specialization in interior decoration, she builds an artistic vision at the intersection of science, space, and emotion. Her work goes beyond the visual: it is sensory, tactile, and immersive. Each creation is the result of years of research, intuition, and refinement.
Her artistic approach rests on a constant objective: to explore and master a wide range of techniques, including the most complex, while elevating them with a contemporary, elegant, and controlled aesthetics. She continually pushes the boundaries between art, design, and innovation.
