Description from the seller
Kelly Veyl is a contemporary artist whose research develops around the relationship between matter, absence, and visual memory.
Her works are distinguished by an essential and refined language, in which the surface becomes a site of poetic tension between apparent softness and formal solidity. Folds, reliefs, and delicate volumes evoke the silent presence of fabric, skin, stone, and time, transforming the object into a vision suspended between sculpture and painting.
Attracted by a pure, luminous, and meditative aesthetics, Kelly Veyl builds works in which white, light, and void take on a central role, giving life to compositions of strong visual and tactile intensity.
Her work invites slow, intimate contemplation, in which matter is never merely form, but emotional trace, imprint, retained memory.
Her stylistic signature, recognizable and sophisticated, places itself within an international sensibility, close to auteur design, to minimal sculpture, and to contemporary research on surface.
Kelly Veyl's works dialogue with elegant environments and collections attentive to formal quality, proposing an artistic vision in which balance, silence, and beauty become experience.
