Description from the seller
COLNAGO JUNIOR (1987) – GIPIEMME CRONO SPRINT EQUIPMENT – 9.8 KG
In the late 1980s, the Colnago Junior established itself as a flagship piece in the manufacturer’s range from Cambiago. Designed to offer the excellence of Colnago geometry to a wider circle of passionate cyclists, this model made no compromises on build quality. This 1987 Junior is a bright testament to Italian craftsmanship, presenting the iconic red “Saronni” aesthetic with yellow gradients, typical of the bold visual style of that decade.
This bike is a rare collectible, not only for its condition but especially for its technical configuration. It is fully equipped with a Gipiemme Crono Sprint group, a prestigious and highly performing alternative to Campagnolo groups of the era. Each component has been selected for historical coherence and mechanical precision.
