Description from the seller

Signed and numbered 1/18 baryta paper print

Patrick Morin (1928–2002) was a French photographer renowned for his portraits of celebrities and iconic images of cinema and fashion from the 1950s to the 1970s. He began his career as a journalist at a very young age, working notably for the Washington Post and the New York Times, before dedicating himself to photography.
He collaborated with prestigious publications such as Paris Match, Vogue, and The Times, and photographed numerous major figures, including Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, and Jean-Paul Belmondo.
His black-and-white images, both spontaneous and elegant, are today a striking testament to the golden age of cinema and the visual culture of the 20th century.
