Publisher's binding. Condition: excellent. Volume in its original slipcase, quarto. Luxe Chiffon paper. Copy no. 272 according to the guarantee and edition certificate appearing in the introduction. Our copy is one of 390 copies containing an original color illustration by Lucy Boucher, complete with the double plate illustrated by Jean Gradassi (the total edition comprises 2,477 copies, all printed on “Lana filigree with the Sefer-Pardo mark”). Printed in the style of illuminated incunabula, the illustrations are the work of Lucy Boucher, who also colored them with watercolors. The volume is presented in a superb full green, turquoise and silver leather binding, executed by master binder Barthélémy. The covers are blind-stamped; the upper cover features a central square debossed with geometric and floral motifs; the spine has four double raised cords with a gilded title in the second part; the top edge is gilt. The work is in perfect condition.
