It is inscribed within a contemporary structural cubism, where nature is reinterpreted through geometric planes and chromatic contrasts that build a balanced composition between order and vitality.
In this work color is not a complement; it is the conceptual axis that articulates the entire composition. The scene is constructed from defined, almost architectural, chromatic blocks, where each plane functions as a piece within a carefully orchestrated structure.
The dominant greens introduce a sense of freshness and expansion. They are not descriptive greens but constructive ones. They sustain the central verticality and organize the gaze. Opposite them, reds and fuchsias burst forth with intensity, bringing energy, pulsation, and vitality. This tension between cool and warm tones creates a constant visual rhythm that avoids stillness and keeps the work in motion.
Yellow acts as a luminous element, a point of irradiation. It brings clarity and balance, creating transitions between planes and softening the strongest contrasts. The blues and turquoises, for their part, introduce depth and serenity, widening the pictorial space without relying on traditional perspective.
The color is applied in a clean, deliberate way, without excessive glazing. This decision reinforces the contemporary character of the piece: each plane asserts its presence, each shade claims its space. It is not about imitating nature, but about reinterpret it through a conscious chromatic system.
The fruit, wine, vegetation, and geometric architecture coexist in a vibrant atmosphere where color builds volume, organizes space, and conveys emotion. The result is a composition that oscillates between the organic and the structural, between the vital and the rational.
Here, cubism manifests as a current language, where color becomes a tool of order and, at the same time, a sensory impulse. The harvest is not only of fruits, but of tonalities, contrasts, and energy.
