Description from the seller
"Voyeur 7", 36.8 x 22.9 cm, 2026
Oil painting on 1 cm thick MDF board.
Signed and dated in the bottom right corner.
Support prepared on all sides.
Painting with varnish (removable).
In the series "Voyeur" male intimacy arises from the suspended moment between getting dressed and undressing, when what was hidden is prepared to be revealed. The tension between parts of the body covered by clothes and those that are naked transforms the unveiling into subtle insinuations of eroticism. These interrupted gestures that speak to us of the transition between one state and the other – dressed and undressed – gain meaning in the presence of an audience that observes them.
Patrícia Trindade is a Portuguese artist, who has participated in exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, France, Denmark, Latvia, Mexico, USA, Montenegro, etc. Her works are in public museum collections; and works in private collections all over Europe.
*IMPORTANT: Due to restrictions imposed by Portuguese carriers and shipping limitations that are outside my control, shipments of orders to the United States will not be made.
*Unframed painting - the image serves only as a suggestion of presentation.
