Description
Refined unisex ring of artisanal craftsmanship, characterized by a design that evokes the aesthetics of traditional Indo-Persian-Ottoman style.
stone: Large natural high-quality Lapis Lazuli, cabochon-oval cut. The stone shows a deep royal blue with beautiful inclusions of golden pyrite, characteristic of the famous Afghan source Sar-e-Sang.
Material: Deliberately etched Silver 925 with a burnished finish that accentuates the reliefs of the work.
Workmanship: The top is fully embellished by hand with a dense geometric braided lattice and arch-over motifs, characteristic of Islamic jewelry from Central Asia.
Estimated period: Second half of the twentieth century (Vintage).
