Loose-fitting nesting box (no hinge) in white porcelain with a polychrome and gold decoration. The lid, slightly domed, features rich ornamentation in the First Empire style, characterized by a circular frieze alternating medallions reading “Vert Empire” with the crowned monogram “N” and the Imperial Eagle.

The object is adorned with laurel garlands, neoclassical scrolls, and slightly raised gilded beaded borders. The body of the box repeats the gilded laurel frieze motif around its circumference.

Style: Napoleonic / Empire.

Material: Fine porcelain.

Period: Probably late 19th or early 20th century.

Le couvercle, légèrement bombé, présente une riche ornementation de style Premier Empire, caractérisée par une frise circulaire alternant des médaillons "Vert Empire" au monogramme "N" couronné et à l'Aigle Impériale.

L'objet est agrémenté de guirlandes de lauriers, de rinceaux néoclassiques et de filets perlés en dorure légèrement surélevée. Le corps de la boîte reprend le motif de frise de lauriers dorés sur le pourtour.
