Two wonderful lacquered wood writing boxes, Japan, mid-20th century.
The boxes are not in good condition; the larger one has a lock that needs repair, as seen in the photo, and shows a lacquer loss on one corner about 2.5 cm. The smaller one is in excellent condition.

Due meravigliose scatole da scrittura in legno laccato, Giappone meta del XX Sec.
Le scatole si presenta no in buone condizioni, quella grande ha la serratura da sistemare come si vede dalla foto e riporta una mancanza di lacca su di un angolo 2,5cm circa, la piu' piccola e' in ottimo stato di conservazione.
