The painter Renzo Barilli was born in Parma in 1922 and died, still in Parma, in 1991.
Son of the painter Latino, nephew of Cecrope Barilli and brother of Aristide.
Painter and teacher, Barilli followed his father's post-impressionist vein, under whose guidance he began his artistic journey.
He earned his diploma from the Paolo Toschi Art Institute of Parma in decoration and scenography.
Umberto Lilloni was his teacher for the decorative arts section.
