B. Morah's original acrylic painting Bosque Ingrávido 88 XL, a surrealist landscape on cotton canvas (100 × 75 cm) signed by hand, created in 2026 in Spain, post-2020, with blue, green, yellow, orange and pink tones, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Weightless Forest 88 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Weightless Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not held by the laws of physics, but by the rules of the imagination.
The reference to Magritte is no accident: like him, the artist invites contemplation of a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and what is stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take the weight out of nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Weightless Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual act of liberation that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Weightless Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only the physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
