Plant table - Classic - Beech - Piëdestal / Pedestal

Very beautiful and decorative pedestal / plant stand. The pedestal is 48 cm tall and the top has a diameter of 24.5 cm. The weight is almost 3.5 kg. The pedestal probably dates from the 1970s or 1980s of the last century (it could be slightly newer).

The pedestal is elegantly crafted (turned) and is clearly inspired by classical designs from antiquity. The pedestal consists of a nicely worked shaft (see photos). The wood used is probably beech. It is elegant and of good quality.

The pedestal still looks very nice and the wood has a very nice sheen. There are hardly any signs of use visible. It still looks fantastic! The classical form gives this pedestal a very beautiful and sophisticated appearance. Especially with a sculpture it becomes a majestic whole (see photos)!

One of the feet is a little short, causing a small wobble. This has been resolved by adding an extra piece of felt under that foot.

The pedestal can be used in several ways. It can serve as a plant stand, where it looks very nice to place a large plant with trailing greenery on it. Because of the height of the furniture, such a plant really comes into its own. You can also place a work of art on the pedestal (see photos). A sculpture or a vase is particularly enhanced on this beautiful pedestal. You could even use it as a side table (see photo); it has the right height for that.

The pedestal is carefully packed and insured for shipment.
