The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that the surface is less prone to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can be safely handled to weigh the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold in the hand, without fear of damaging the bar or affecting it with fingerprints. Cast bars, due to the manufacturing process, have rounded edges and small solidification lines. This makes every Au bar a unique piece.
