PINK CORAL
Original painting of an imaginary underwater background filled with color.
Nature in general and water in particular are, for me, a great source of inspiration.
The colors under the water are very vibrant despite the light barely reaching there; the plants and corals at the seabed form a whole subworld full of life and intensity.
Painted in oil and using the frottage technique on canvas in 2013 and retouched in 2019.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stays in New York to study graphic design and then in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer, and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion, and above all a vital need.
I have had solo and group exhibitions in several European cities and my works are in various private collections around the world.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions; my star theme is water and fish, two visual universes that share a symbolic intensity. The fascination with the fluidity and dynamism of water acts as a unifying thread of my creations and symbolizes constant transformation.
