Description from the seller
"Ordinary Offering" is a still life created in the photographer Ursula van de Bunte's studio. It is a print on high-quality Hahnemuhle Baryta paper. The photo's size is 20x20 cm and it is the first edition of 25.
In Van de Bunte's still lifes, everyday objects take on a new role. They are disentangled from usefulness and function and appear as pure forms: quiet, present, almost vulnerable. Through the soft light, the sober composition, and the attention to skin, scale, glass, and ceramic, a hushed world emerges in which time slows down. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio located in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries, and at art fairs.
