With Rébellion Millésimée, SKE signs a pop & street art piece where luxury no longer content to be admired: it catches fire.
The scene tensions several universes that normally do not meet. In the foreground, a Dom Pérignon case becomes almost a weapon of style, an iconic champagne transformed into a chic and provocative Molotov cocktail. The flames bursting from the bottles bring an energy of urban revolt, as if the celebration suddenly tipped toward insurrection.
In the background, the Louis Vuitton motif places the work in a codified luxury setting, recognizable, almost hypnotic. But with SKE, symbols are never there to stay quiet: they are distorted, jostled, reinterpreted with humor and irreverence.
The anonymous silhouette, treated in a stencil-and-spray spirit, subtly evokes the contested universe of Banksy, while preserving SKE’s own signature: more pop, more premium, more frontal. Here, rebellion is not dirty or desperate; it is millésimée. It bears the codes of prestige, but keeps the street instinct.
A work with a double reading, between a gentle critique of the cult of brands and a self-assured fascination with their icons. Rébellion Millésimée turns champagne into a visual manifesto: a luxury that explodes, a party that goes awry, a revolt with a lot of style.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and jack-of-all-trades who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring most of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with a double reading, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as the "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October; he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, reinforcing his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes his mark in the digital artwork market, a major trend of the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of pop culture, bold graphics, and texture play characterize a style now indispensable.
SKE is undeniably an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with growing value.
Awarded & Noted Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversion or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to distort Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey Mouse or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and cartoons is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), via Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories as does Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the aesthetic of "Hype": you’ll encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textures that sometimes evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal to enrich a collection or bring a dynamic touch to your interior.
