Description from the seller
Elegant and decorative wall-mounted aneroid barometer with classic nautical-inspired design, signed Goldtime, presented on a solid circular base of noble wood with a mahogany finish. The piece stands out for its attractive polished brass front, with a bullseye-style bezel and latch closure, evoking traditional maritime navigation instruments.
The dial, with clear readability and vintage aesthetics, shows the weather indications in Spanish (“Lluvia – Variable – Bueno”), along with an accurate barometric scale. In the center the visible mechanism is apparent, adding an interesting technical and decorative character. At the back it retains original labels, including manufacturing reference (Goldtime, brev. 775091) and distributor (Samaral, Madrid), which adds collector interest.
This is an ideal piece for both collectors of antique scientific instruments and for decoration in vintage, nautical, or industrial settings. It has a diameter of 34 cm, operates correctly and is in very good overall condition, with slight signs of use consistent with its age (see photographs).
